This dynamic poster from the obscure but highly-regarded action flick is in Very Good / Excellent condition. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With minor edge and surface wear ; some very light surface creases ; some wrinkling and creasing at the top right and lower left (white) corners, well outside of artwork. No pinholes or tears. With bright colors and sharp images, it's printed on heavy glossy poster stock.
This striking poster uses eye-popping COMIC BOOK / GRAPHIC NOVEL - style grapics, layout and titling to depict the adventures of the movie's fact-based title cops, nicknamed BATMAN AND ROBIN after the comic book SUPER HEROES! The muscular, heroic Cops (representing stars RON LEIBMAN and DAVID " Dark Shadows " SELBY ) scale the side of a building with a grappling hook, leap across rooftops (with a single bound) and ride a CONSTRUCTION CRANE'S WRECKING BALL, all the while firing at (and being fired on) various seedy-looking criminals, with one fleeing right into the foreground! With a great, stylized title-logo and vivid, comic-style primary colors.
The film also stars SHEILA FRAZIER , PAT HINGLE and DAN FRAZER . Directed by GORDON PARKS
