This exciting, RARE-STYLE poster from the underrated sequel to MICHAEL CRICHTON's WESTWORLD is in Excellent / Fine Condition. It's folded (original folds), with some light wear at the fold lines. It's printed on glossy poster stock and has rich, unfaded color.
The poster artwork features a great image of the film's stars PETER FONDA and BLYTHE DANNER on their knees and kissing passionately as HR GEIGER-like metal tendrils protrude from (or enter into) their backs. Behind them, deep-red computer-look profile images of the stars stare off blankly in opposite directions. As with so many SCIENCE FICTION films of days gone by, the poster somewhat amusingly notes -in huge text- that this futuristic film takes place in "2002 A.D." which adds a nice, nostalgic quality to the poster. In addition, text below reads "OPERATION: 'FUTUREWORLD' ," indicating an attempt to unofficially re-title the film to increase ticket sales.
The movie, filmed largely at previously off-limits NASA SPACE CENTER locations, also stars ARTHUR HILL , STUART MARGOLIN and JOHN RYAN , with WESTWORLD-Star YUL BRYNNER also appearing to reprise his popular GUNSLINGER ROBOT character. Directed by RICHARD T. HEFFRON
