This RARE poster from Cult-Favorite 'gimmick' movie producer / director WILLIAM CASTLE's lighthearted, lesser-known thriller is in Excellent condition. With original machine folds, there's some light wear at the fold lines and some small seperation at the seam crosspoints. It appears unused and has bright, vibrant colors. Printed on flat poster stock.
The poster artwork showcases the film's great, stylized title artwork and logo, showing "Uncle" killed in a variety of ways: garotted from the "Visit Universal Studios" text bar at the top of the poster, stabbed, poisoned, shot three times, bitten by a spider and attacked by a shark! A nice collage of images from the film show star NIGEL GREEN ("of 'Ipcress File' fame") with an outstretched clutching hand and also dangling his nephew above him. The murderous kids are armed with a sword and handgun ; a legless deformed man on a trolly carries a dagger and co-star LINDA LAWSON watches it all anxiously. The great, familiar WILLIAM CASTLE silhouette trademark logo is also included!
Also in the cast: MARY BADHAM and PAT CARDI. Produced and Directed by WILLIAM CASTLE (House on Haunted Hill, The Tingler, 13 Ghosts, Homicidal, I Saw What You Did, Rosemary's Baby and many more).
